Example 1: Front of house border with symmetrical beds



The grey circles represent the circumference of the bush and the tree canopy. The black circle in the center of the tree represents the trunk and shows its distance from the house.

*Note the color of the house and make sure you give the height of the windows from the ground.


Example 2: Free standing bed



Make sure you (1) label objects; and (2) measure objects from both the edge of the garden and other objects and mark the distances. The grey circles represent the tree canopies. You should also measure to the trunk as shown on the dogwood tree in Example 1.
