Seminars
This year will be the 11th year hosting gardening seminars at the nursery.
Your hosts, Bill and Debbie have always felt strongly about creating a environment
for customers to purchase quality plant material, but also to be able to come
to learn about all aspects of gardening. Their seminars have evolved into fun,
educational events chock full of valuable information. Seminars topics are
chosen mainly from the customer’s requests. There is always time for
your questions, weather you are a beginner or experienced gardener. The seminar
starts at 9:30am to 12:30pm. A small admission fee will be charged for the
2006 seminars at the time reservations are made. The fee can be credited to
a plant purchase the day of the seminar. Please call for reservations and additional
information. Breakfast will be served.
May 6th & 7th - Container design and how to plan
them! A great time had by all!
June 10th & 11th - Feeding and trouble shooting. Don't
miss this one!
July 8th & 9th - Designing for all seasons.
August 12th & 13th - Planting in dry shade (those dreaded Maples)!
September 9th & 10th - Designing with the eye!
Garden Club Days
August 4th & 5th
Garden Club members invited for two days.
There will be discounts for all purchases. Specially purchased
products, tours of our gardens, nursery operation, refreshments,
and more. Look for more information to follow at your garden
club meetings. Please call the nursery to make sure your club
is on our mailing list.
Mohonk Mountain House Gardens
Bus Trip - July 10th
Come and enjoy this wonderful all-inclusive adventure to Mohonk
Gardens. A special day is planned with private tours of the gardens,
museum and a sneak peek of the specialty kitchen. And not to
be missed the finest buffet lunch in the grand dinning room.
Dress casual and if you like take a hike on their extensive nature
trails. Seating is limited, so be sure to call us early to reserve
your spot!
Cost: $75.- Includes: tours, buffet lunch, motor coach and goodies.
Coach departs from Mountain Pine Nursery at 9am
approximate arrival time home 5pm.
